Peak Practice es una serie dramática británica sobre un consultorio de médicos generales en Cardale, un pequeño pueblo ficticio en el Distrito de los Picos de Derbyshire, y los médicos que trabajaban allí. Se emitió en ITV desde el 10 de mayo de 1993 hasta el 30 de enero de 2002 y fue una de sus series más exitosas en ese momento. Estuvo protagonizada originalmente por Kevin Whately como el Dr. Jack Kerruish, Amanda Burton como la Dra. Beth Glover y Simon Shepherd como el Dr. Will Preston, aunque la lista de médicos cambiaría muchas veces a lo largo de la serie. Cardale se basó en el pueblo de Staffordshire de Longnor para la temporada final, pero anteriormente se basaba en el pueblo de Derbyshire de Crich, aunque ciertas escenas se filmaron en otros pueblos y ciudades cercanos de Derbyshire, sobre todo Matlock, Belper y Ashover.
